Highly skilled editor, copy editor, and proofreader whose goal is to bring manuscripts and documents to a high level of excellence. My previous position a part-time job as an editor for a book publishing company led to full-time freelance editing. I am highly skilled at preparing manuscripts and other documents for publication, which includes detailed attention to grammar, punctuation, syntax, flow, consistency, and readability. My work spans fiction and nonfiction books, doctoral dissertations, master's theses, science and technology publications, legal documents, journal articles, blogs, and more. I am highly proficient in academic editing, formatting, and proofreading with experience in APA, CMOS, and MLA for in-text citations, references, and formatting.
